The DS3011 by Inter-Tool is the gold standard in planetary polishers. Its triple-sealed bearings and gear/chain drive make it extremely reliable and durable. There is no belt to break, and the bearings don’t wear down due to grit. The three heads are extremely well-balanced for an even polish with very little effort.

This machine is worth a couple hundred extra dollars versus the cheaper alternatives, which is why it is the only planetary polisher that The Concrete Countertop Institute recommends.

Can you buy just the bottom housing for the ds 3011 polisher? The bottom of mine is all rusted and getting wobbly when polishing. Thanks Jonathon DeWitt Concrete Outdoor Living Jonathon De Witt asked on December 31, 2024

The DS-3011 Planetary polisher requires (3) sets of Diamond Pads (50,100, 200 & 400) grit.

Yes, the Planetary Polisher can be used on marble and granite, you just need to use diamond pads appropriate for the surface.

    very smooth process on this site. no yelling was required to get the job done! Info on product could be improved by listing grits of the three sets of pads. Are they standard 5″ pads or different?
