COVERAGE & COST 

• A kit of 1 pint A, ½ pint B (24 oz) covers approximately 170 sq ft using the maximum of 2 primer coats and 4 finish coats.
• Cost is $129.99 per 24 oz making it only $0.76 per sq ft.
• Depending on how porous your concrete surface is, you may need the maximum number of coats before your surface is completely sealed. For less porous concrete or less demanding applications such as fireplace surrounds, you may need only 1 primer coat and 2 finish costs. For highly porous surfaces, additional applications up to 2 primer coats and 4 finish coats might be necessary to ensure full coverage and durability. Our foam rollers are made of a dense, high quality foam that will give you a better finish than foam rollers from a big box home improvement store. They may look similar to big box rollers, but they are not. The foam is top quality German foam (assembled in China). If you purchase the Omega Full Kit, you will receive our ultra high quality German foam rollers as well as handles and measuring syringes. You may also purchase packs of foam rollers and handles here. The Omega Full Kit includes all the accessories you need for convenience, including foam rollers and handles, measuring syringes, and even plastic jars. People often buy a full kit to start, and then order 24 oz kits as needed.

1. Cure your concrete for at least 2 days
2. Make sure the concrete is microscopically rough by etching, wet sanding by hand, or machine honing to no more than 400 grit.
3. Make sure the concrete is clean and dry.
4. Ensure that the environment you will seal in is suitable.

3. Step-by-Step Guide to Applying Omega Concrete Countertop Sealer

When it comes to sealing a concrete countertop, you will follow these basic steps to protect and maintain its beauty. Note that you must refer to the full instructions for the details - DO NOT rely only on the steps below.

1. Mixing

• Ratio is 2 parts by volume A with 1 part by volume B
• Mix and let rest for at least 5 minutes. This is CRITICAL. Do not let rest for shorter than 5 minutes.
• Dilute with water as needed depending on whether you are mixing Primer or Finish coats.

2. Dilution

• Primer: 1 part urethane mixture plus 7 parts water by volume
• Finish Coat: 1 part urethane mixture plus 1 part water by volume (or 1.25 parts water in hot weather)

3. Straining

• Strain diluted mixture through a paint strainer

4. Apply the Primer

• Apply a small amount and spread out rapidly, use spray bottle application method
• Backroll immediately with high quality foam rollers
• Maintain wet edge to prevent roller marks
• Wait 10-20 minutes between coats
• Apply at least 2 coats
• Wait 15+ minutes before applying Finish Coats

5. Apply the Finish Coats

• Apply a small amount and spread out rapidly, use spray bottle application method
• Backroll immediately with high quality foam rollers
• Maintain wet edge to prevent roller marks
• Wait 10-20 minutes between coats
• Apply 2 to 4 coats depending upon desired protection
