The Reseal Kit, available on the Omega Concrete Countertop Sealer page, includes the specialty materials and tools you need to reseal your concrete countertops.

Personal protection:
Cleaning:
- 3M Scotch-Brite pad or similar
- Household all-purpose detergent/cleaner such as Windex, Simple Green or similar
- Paper towels
- Bleach (if any stains need to be removed from the concrete)
- Wax stripper (if your countertops were waxed)
- Paint stripper (if your countertops were sealed with thick plastic epoxy) – Choose industrial strength or non-toxic
Masking:
- Painter’s tape – wide 3″
- Painter’s tape – narrow 1″
- Pre-taped painter’s plastic – short 24″
- Pre-taped painter’s plastic – long 48″ (if resealing edges of countertop)
- Tarps/floor protectant/drop cloth (if resealing edges of countertop)
Surface preparation:
- Handheld electric random orbit sander
- 400 grit wet/dry sandpaper
- Lint-free microfiber cloths (ideally white)
- CCI 200 grit diamond hand pad (included in Kit)
- CCI 100 grit 5″ diamond pad (included in Kit)
- Isopropyl alcohol or denatured alcohol
Sealer mixing:
- Container for mix water (1 quart/liter)
- Container for rinse water (2-1/2 quarts/liters or larger)
- Acetone for rinse water (must be 100% acetone, not moisturizing nail polish remover)
- Plastic cups for sealer mixing (18 oz red Solo cups work well)
- Rubber/silicone spatula
- Two 10 mL plastic syringes (included in Kit)
- Paint can opener
Sealer application:
- Omega Concrete Countertop Sealer (included in kit)
- CCI 4″ foam roller (included in kit)
- CCI 4″ handle (included in kit)
- Spray bottle
